Album Cover Illustration inspired by the song Back of my Heart

In response to the prompt to create an illustration inspired by a song, I chose Back of My Heart by the Toronto-based band The Beaches, drawing specifically from the lyrics:

I can feel you tapping on the brick wall
I can hear you kick and yell
And tell me to come down

To the back of your heart
I'm gonna get there

I created the illustration with coloured pencil on layered construction paper, featuring a three-dimensional heart rising from the centre.
